Job description

Position Summary:

JetBlue's TrueBlue is an award-winning loyalty program with a rapidly increasing customer base and an expanding network of partnerships. JetBlue is looking for an Analyst Loyalty Redemptions, to be based at JetBlue's Support Center in Long Island City, NY.

The Analyst Loyalty Redemptions is responsible for developing and executing overall strategy for TrueBlue point redemptions and point sales. The Analyst is a thought leader with the goal of optimizing the customer redemption experience and managing marketing activities to drive revenue growth and strengthen engagement.

Essential Functions:

  • Plan, launch, and evaluate marketing campaigns by working with Marketing, Revenue Management, Sales and other commercial partners
  • Manage and optimize TrueBlue point sales by coordinating with internal stakeholders and external business partners
  • Review redemption performance across JetBlue's partners and collaborate with the partnerships team to optimize the customer experience
  • Collaborate with Digital teams to optimize the customer redemption experience across platforms
  • Partner with the finance and revenue accounting teams to ensure accurate cost and revenue forecasts are in place
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
  • One (1) year of analytical quantitative experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as quantitative critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Candidates must demonstrate Analysis, Problem-Solving, and Presentation skills in a work sample assessment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, collaboratively and under pressure 
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field
  • Two (2) years of analytical quantitative experience
  • One (1) year of Revenue Management (RM) experience
  • A proven interest in airlines, aviation, or transportation systems in schooling or prior work experience
  • Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) and other database tools

Crewmember Expectations:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Fun and Passion
  • Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy, and behavioral standards
  • Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
  • The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.

Compensation: 

  • The base pay range for this position is between $64,350.00 and $89,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more
