Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support enterprise data transformation and cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in source system analysis, source-to-target mapping, data warehousing concepts, and SQL-based data analysis. This role will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and technology partners, ensuring accurate data migration from on-premises platforms to cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed source system analysis to understand data structures, business rules, and data lineage.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents for data migration and integration projects.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, data architects, and developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Support cloud migration initiatives by analyzing and mapping on-premises data assets to modern cloud-based platforms.
  • Validate data quality, transformation logic, and business rules throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Develop complex SQL queries for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Data Warehouse (DWH) teams to support dimensional modeling, data integration, and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and data validation efforts.
  • Produce functional specifications, process flows, gap analyses, and other project documentation.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in data-centric projects.
  • Strong expertise in Source System Analysis and Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM).
  • Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries for analysis and validation.
  • Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, fact and dimension tables, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience supporting cloud migration projects from on-premises environments.
  • Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of data migration, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience in financial services, banking, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with data integration and reporting tools.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 85786-105273
