Position: Airline Logistics Coordinator
Pay Rate: $19.23 per hour
Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
The Airline Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the movement of customers' cargo to its final destination within our network. This role serves as a key operational and customer-facing position, ensuring shipments move efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with airline requirements and service expectations.
The Airline Logistics Coordinator will work closely with airline partners, internal operations teams, sales and account management teams, and customers to coordinate bookings, monitor in-transit shipments, provide shipment updates, and proactively resolve service issues as they arise. This position requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment status, routing, and delivery timelines.
    • Schedule pickup and delivery services to meet customer and airline requirements.
  • Monitor in-transit shipments to ensure on-time recovery, transfer, and delivery performance.
  • Assist reporting service performance metrics and operational trends
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with airline partners, customers, and internal operational teams
  • Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, time-sensitive logistics environment
  • Proactively identify service risks and operational delays, escalating issues as needed to minimize service failures.
  • Prepare and distribute performance metrics and customer scorecards.
  • Support airline partnership activities by ensuring compliance with service-level agreements and operational requirements.
  • Collect, organize, and provide supporting documentation for billing, audits, and customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, and billing) to ensure seamless shipment execution.
  • Ensure compliance with airline regulations, security requirements, and company policies.
  • Provide administrative support related to reporting and data entry.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service while managing multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
  • All other duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; undergraduate coursework or degree in logistics, supply chain, or transportation preferred.
  • Previous experience in air freight, logistics, transportation, or customer service operations preferred.
  • Working knowledge of airline networks, air cargo processes, or freight coordination is a plus.
  • Experience using AS400 or similar transportation/operations systems required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for customer and partner interactions.
  • Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality in handling and protecting sensitive information.
  • Technical: Proficient with common office technologies, including Windows PCs, Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and web conferencing (Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.)
  • Environment: Comfort commuting to/from and working in a 100% on-site setting (listed in this posting), with travel for related meetings/events.
