AI Engineering Lead – Air Cargo Practice

Position Summary

Lead the company's Artificial Intelligence strategy, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions for air cargo revenue management, dynamic pricing, demand forecasting, and optimization. This role combines AI leadership, software engineering, data science, and airline cargo domain expertise to deliver innovative products that improve airline revenue, capacity utilization, and commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the AI roadmap aligned with company strategy and product vision.
  • Design and deploy AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions.
  • Build scalable AI platforms, MLOps processes, and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, commercial, and customer teams.
  • Lead and mentor AI engineers and data scientists.
  • Support customer engagements, product demonstrations, and thought leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Operations Research, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, software engineering, or advanced analytics.
  • 3+ years leading AI, machine learning, or data science teams.
  • Expertise in Python, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative and Agentic AI, LLMs, optimization, and cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of revenue management, pricing, forecasting, or optimization systems.
  • Air cargo, airline, logistics, or transportation industry experience preferred.
Success Measures
  • Deliver AI-powered pricing and revenue optimization capabilities.
  • Improve forecast accuracy and pricing effectiveness.
  • Launch Agentic AI solutions that automate commercial decision-making.
  • Establish scalable AI engineering practices and governance.
  • Position the company as an industry leader in AI-driven air cargo revenue management.
