Job description

Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, & modify avionic units using state-of-the-art repair techniques & test equipment in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturers specifications
  • Coordinate work with that of engineers, technicians, & other aircraft maintenance personnel
  • Interpret test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance problems
  • Troubleshoot avionics units to component level & sub-assembly level utilizing schematics & standard troubleshooting practices and procedures
  • Set up test equipment & tests electronic products using established test procedures & schematics
  • Make use of test & measurement equipment, Digital/Analog Voltmeters, oscilloscopes, Hi-Pot meters, power supplies, & Automatic and Standard Test equipment, etc.

* Takeover of additional tasks when required

Requirements

Step into the role of an Electronics Technician (Avionics), check the requirements below:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to troubleshoot
  • Electronics experience desirable
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
