Responsibilities
Salary:
' Pay starts at $19.00 plus shift premium totaling $21.50
' Eligible for annual bonuses
Position Overview:
As a Manufacturing Associate, you'll be part of our team located in Skokie, IL on 2nd Shift.
Key Responsibilities:
' Safely perform a variety of assembly operations, complying with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
' Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment following established Standard Operating Procedures
' Assist with line set ups, start up and maintaining a clean and orderly work area
' Maintain quality standards as described in the quality system by visually inspect parts, components and subassemblies
' Recognize and solve minor problems that arise
' Perform any necessary material handling requirements of the job
Perform other duties that may be assigned
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
' Ability to perform basic math ' add,subtract, multiply whole numbers, fractions and decimals
' Strong orientation toward quality,safety and continuous improvement
' Strong attention to detail
' Desire to learn new skills and improvetechnical knowledge
' Ability to read and understandprocedure, routers and instruction
' Flexibility in work assignments
' Demonstrated ability to effectivelyimplement or respond to change
' Previous manufacturing experiencepreferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
' Must be able to continuously performgrasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking
' Must be able to handle continuousstanding 8-10 hours daily
' Must be able to perform frequentlifting up to 50 lbs.
