Position Summary

Davcor Aviation Services is seeking experienced A&P Aircraft Mechanics - Systems to support commercial aircraft maintenance operations in Everett, WA.

This role is designed for highly skilled aviation maintenance professionals with extensive experience troubleshooting, removing, installing, and maintaining aircraft systems. Successful candidates will possess strong mechanical aptitude and recent experience supporting Boeing and Airbus aircraft in a commercial MRO, heavy maintenance, or modification environment.

Candidates should be capable of performing complex maintenance tasks independently while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.


Pay Range

$27.00 - $37.00 per hour DOE

Additional overtime opportunities may be available based on project requirements.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, modification, and replacement of aircraft systems and components.

  • Remove, install, inspect, and troubleshoot aircraft engines and associated systems.

  • Perform landing gear removal, installation, functional testing, and troubleshooting.

  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical aircraft systems.

  • Conduct operational and functional checks to verify system performance and airworthiness.

  • Utilize Structural Repair Manuals (SRM), Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), engineering drawings, and approved technical data to complete maintenance activities.

  • Diagnose mechanical discrepancies and develop corrective actions in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer requirements.

  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.

  • Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate labor tracking and job charging records.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality personnel, engineering teams, and fellow technicians regarding work progress and technical issues.

  • Complete required training, OJT documentation, and company compliance requirements.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Support overtime and schedule flexibility as required to meet operational needs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum QualificationsRequired Experience
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required.

  • Minimum three (3) years of direct aircraft systems maintenance experience.

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience working with aircraft engines, landing gear, hydraulics, and related systems.

  • Previous commercial aircraft MRO, heavy maintenance, or modification experience preferred.

  • Experience performing engine removals, installations, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience performing landing gear removals, installations, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience troubleshooting pneumatic systems.

  • Experience supporting Boeing 737, Boeing 767, and/or Airbus aircraft.

  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.

  • Ability to perform maintenance tasks independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Heavy maintenance experience.

  • Aircraft modification experience.

  • Multi-fleet commercial aircraft experience.

  • Experience supporting large-scale maintenance programs.

  • Advanced troubleshooting experience on transport-category aircraft.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position is performed in an active aircraft maintenance environment and may require working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Employees must be able to:

  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, and climb for extended periods.

  • Work from ladders, maintenance stands, lifts, and elevated platforms.

  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Work in aircraft hangars and maintenance facilities.

  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and precision measuring instruments.

  • Read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and work instructions.

  • Wear required PPE and comply with FAA, OSHA, customer, and company safety requirements.
