Job description

STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft Mechanics in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. In this role, you will inspect, test, adjust, and repair airframe and engine systems while supporting high-performance maintenance operations. If you know your way around FAA regulations and can turn a wrench with precision, this is where you get to work.
Role Overview
This position is responsible for inspecting, testing, adjusting, repairing, and performing other tasks related to the maintenance and repair of airframe and engine systems and components.
Key Responsibilities
  • Performs inspections, servicing, and repairs of a complex nature on various aircraft systems and components
  • Efficiently and effectively troubleshoot and function test referencing manufacturer's technical documents across a variety of airframe, engine, and component systems
  • Leads aircraft projects as directed by the Crew Chief and Supervisor
  • Expertly prepares and completes various documents for maintenance and modification record keeping purposes, as required by FAA Airworthiness Regulations, Elliott Aviation Policies and Processes, FAA Approved Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals, and personal training logs
  • Proficiently and consistently locate and use the appropriate technical data to accomplish all assigned tasks
  • Support, maintain, and comply with all Federal, OSHA, State, and local regulations, and Elliott Aviation's Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Processes
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Ability to attain and retain AOA badge or airport requirements
  • FAA Inspection Authorization preferred
  • Must obtain and retain designation as an Elliott Aviation Production Inspector
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, and 145
  • Aircraft maintenance experience preferred

Licenses
  • Airframe & Powerplant License required
