STS Technical Services is hiring Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanics to join Optic Air in Maurice, Iowa. This is a full-time, year-round direct hire opportunity supporting a rapidly growing fleet of Piper Aztec and Cessna 172 aircraft at KSXK. If you're a certified A&P mechanic looking for steady work with a close-knit team and opportunities to grow, we want to hear from you.
Position Overview
As an A&P Mechanic, you'll perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a fleet of aircraft used for aerial survey projects across the United States and Canada. You'll work out of a brand new, state-of-the-art hangar and join a company that values teamwork, growth, and a passion for aviation.
Core Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on light aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues related to aircraft systems, components, and engines
