This role involves managing the crew, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating maintenance and inspections, and handling logistics such as flight planning and budgeting. Aircraft Managers also serve as the main point of contact between aircraft owners, operators, and regulatory bodies, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft at all times.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as an aircraft manager?

To thrive as an Aircraft Manager, you need expertise in aviation operations, maintenance oversight, regulatory compliance, and typically a degree in aviation management or a related field. • Modest utilization (125-150 hours per year) with interesting trips to a wide range of domestic and international destinations.
  • This provides the opportunity to experience and enjoy different locations, avoiding the monotony of the same routes, while supporting strong work-life balance.
  • Enjoy a predictable schedule - trips are typically scheduled 4+ weeks in advance.
