Job Description

This role performs line maintenance on commercial aircraft, ensuring they remain safe, airworthy, and ready for service. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft systems and components in accordance with approved technical data, working on a variety of passenger aircraft types in a fast-paced flight line environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-call and scheduled line maintenance on multiple customers’ aircraft to ensure safe and timely operations.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft systems, identify faults, and determine appropriate corrective actions using approved technical data.
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble aircraft sections and components to restore full functionality and compliance with maintenance standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and complete airworthiness releases within the scope of approval to return aircraft to service.
  • Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components according to regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Work efficiently to meet established deadlines and performance goals while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.
  • Document maintenance activities accurately and clearly in accordance with applicable procedures and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and flight line staff to coordinate work and minimize aircraft downtime.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area on the flight line.

Essential Skills

  • Hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance, including inspection, servicing, and repair of aircraft and associated components.
  • Strong knowledge of airframe systems and aircraft assembly practices.
  • Experience working on wide body or narrow body regional passenger aircraft.
  • Ability to perform line maintenance, including on-call and scheduled work, in a flight line environment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting aircraft systems and using approved technical data to guide repairs.
  • Capability to perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases within the scope of approval.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience as an aircraft technician on A320 aircraft.
  • Completion of at least 40 hours of A320 General Familiarization (Gen Fam) training, preferred.
  • International training or exposure to international maintenance standards, preferred.
  • Comfort working on a variety of passenger aircraft types, including regional fleets.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to approved technical data and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with flight line and maintenance teams.
