Job Description

Resicum International LLC is seeking an experienced Aircraft Logs and Records Technician to support P-8A aircraft Organizational-Level Maintenance operations at NAS Whidbey Island, Washington.

The Aircraft Logs and Records Technician will maintain aircraft and engine logbooks, maintenance records, and associated documentation supporting P-8A aircraft maintenance operations.

The position is responsible for accurate data entry and retrieval, recordkeeping, database and systems analysis, reporting, document control, and administrative support. The technician will ensure maintenance actions are properly documented in accordance with applicable Naval Aviation Maintenance Program requirements, technical directives, local instructions, and Government procedures.

The position will support applicable Navy maintenance information systems and reporting requirements, including OOMA, NALDA, and NATEC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain P-8A aircraft and engine logbooks and associated records.
  • Perform aircraft maintenance recordkeeping and data entry.
  • Make required entries in aircraft, engine, ALSS, egress, armament, and support equipment records.
  • Review records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and correct data-entry and recordkeeping discrepancies.
  • Perform data retrieval and database functions.
  • Extract maintenance data and prepare management reports.
  • Create and maintain electronic archives, backups, and data saves.
  • Support aircraft deployments and detachment operations.
  • Prepare maintenance reports and correspondence.
  • Perform filing, document control, and administrative duties.
  • Support aircraft readiness status reporting.
  • Maintain aircraft inspection and acceptance documentation.
  • Support required situational and periodic reports.
  • Support applicable Navy maintenance information systems.
  • Support Technical Directive compliance recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Control and maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft records accurately reflect maintenance actions and aircraft status.

Specific P-8/P-8A Experience

  • Prior military aircraft maintenance records experience is required.
  • P-8/P-8A aircraft logs and records experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience maintaining Navy aircraft logbooks and maintenance records is highly desirable.
  • Experience with P-8/P-8A maintenance documentation and NAMP requirements is preferred.
  • Experience with OOMA/NALCOMIS, NALDA, NATEC, or similar military aviation maintenance information systems is highly desirable.

Requirements

  • Must possess a current U.S. Passport.
  • Must possess and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be eligible for required site access and CAC issuance.
  • Must possess strong data-entry and recordkeeping skills.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be capable of accurately maintaining aircraft maintenance records.
  • Must be proficient with computer systems and electronic databases.
  • Must be capable of identifying and correcting data discrepancies.
  • Must be capable of preparing reports, correspondence, and maintenance documentation.
  • Must possess strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a military aircraft maintenance environment.
  • Must be available to work the schedule required to support the contract.
