Founded in 1980, Hillsboro Aviation offers complete helicopter and airplane services comprised of five divisions: contract & charter, aircraft sales & management, service center, FBO, and parts sales. Serving domestic and international markets in the government, commercial, and private sectors, we have over 80 employees and 9 turbine aircraft. The Position

Hillsboro Aviation is seeking experienced candidates for Utility/Powerline contracts. This is a full-time position with benefit package.

Job Responsibilities

• Flying in the wire environment in support of power line construction performing human external load, non-human loads (cargo) and class A loads (skid work) to include marker balls, bird diverters, air flow spoilers, skid transfers, etc. as well as class C loads (wire pull).

• Pilot will have a rotational schedule of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.

Qualifications/Licenses

• FAA commercial or ATP Helicopter

• Current 2nd or 1st class medical certificate

Required Skills/Experience

• 50 hours make and model (MD 500 series)

• 200 external load / vertical reference hours in the wire environment

• Recent external load / vertical reference experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Preferred candidates have additional airframe experience in AS350, B407 and / or B205.
