Full-Time Employee Benefits & Compensation Overview
As a full-time employee of Contour, you are eligible for the following benefits and programs:
Insurance
  • Health, vision, and dental insurance, plus short/long-term disability and voluntary life insurance (effective the first day of the month following your hire date)

Compensation Details
  • The starting hourly rate for this position is between $26.00 and $36.00 based on your prior work experience.
  • When you work on a Contour observed holiday, you are eligible to receive holiday pay which is paid at 2 times your hourly rate. Specific information regarding Contour's observed holiday policy is outlined in our Employee Handbook which will be provided to you during the onboarding process should you be selected for employment.
  • When you work in excess of 40 hours within the pay period, you are eligible for overtime, which is paid at 1.5 times your hourly rate

Key Responsibilities
  • Basic cabin repairs / fabrication of parts
  • General repair items including but not limited to, nut plates, rivnuts, filling and fairing, bonding and sealing, replacement of seals and inserts.
  • Cleaning of interior parts
  • Repair and refurb of aircraft cabinets
  • Remove and replace decorative materials on interior parts including but not limited to fabrics, tedlar, and matting.
  • Prep for painting, priming and painting of aircraft interior items
  • Ability to read and comprehend aircraft repair manuals, engineering repair orders and related drawings.
  • Legibly and accurately completes all required documentation for work performed.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequent stooping, bending, and kneeling.
  • Ability to stand on feet for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry objects up to 70 pounds regularly, up to 100+ pounds occasionally (with assistance).
  • Ability to climb stairs, scaffolding, and/or ladders of varying heights without assistance.
  • Ability to work in cramped spaces and awkward positions as required.
  • Tolerance to noise, vibration, and outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to wear protective gear such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Work Environment
  • Airport ramp/warehouse environment subject to varying weather conditions.
  • Regular exposure to aircraft noise and vibrations when testing engines.
  • Fast-paced operational setting requires attention to safety, accuracy, and timeliness.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A minimum of nine (9) months of prior airline or aviation industry experience is preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the country without restrictions.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently; proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required.
  • High school diploma or GED certification preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, including Office 365, Excel, Outlook, and Word; familiarity with similar software applications is also required.
  • Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with a variety of personalities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Skilled in coordinating multiple priorities, managing deadlines, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle interruptions and changing priorities with flexibility and a strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.

  • Must pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screening and be willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company-mandated random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Ability to pass a 10-year work history background check, as well as criminal history and fingerprint checks, as required by the TSA.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts as operational needs dictate.
  • Must adhere to all safety regulations and work in a professional manner, complying with OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
