Power Electrical System Engineer

Division: Electrical Engineering and Power Systems

Mission

RINA is a leading engineering and consulting firm specializing in Energy, infrastructure, marine, or industrial systems. We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions and supporting the professional growth of our team. We are seeking a motivated Entry‑Level Electrical Engineer with an emphasis in power systems to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands‑on experience working on real‑world electrical power design and analysis projects.

Key Accountabilities
  • Assist in the design and analysis of electrical power systems (low, medium, and high voltage)
  • Support preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports
  • Perform load calculations and support power distribution studies
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams and project managers
  • Participate in field work, site visits, and inspections as needed
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE)
  • Support projects from concept through completion
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (power focus preferred)
  • Recent graduate or 0–2 years of experience
  • Basic understanding of electrical power systems and distribution
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Internship or co‑op experience in power systems, utilities, or engineering consulting
  • Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or SKM (preferred but not required)
Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering General
