Bring Aircraft to Life – Join Us as an Aircraft Painter! 

Location: Savannah, GA | Pay Rate: $28.75/hour | Schedule: 3rd Shift (9pm - 5:30am) 

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire an Aircraft Painter. If you take pride in precision craftsmanship and want to help deliver world-class aircraft, this is your opportunity to put your skills to work in a dynamic, quality-driven environment. 

About the Role 

As an Aircraft Painter, you'll prepare, paint, and detail aircraft to the highest quality standards while ensuring compliance with company procedures and FAA requirements. Working with minimal supervision, you'll play an essential role in delivering aircraft that are both visually exceptional and protected for long-term performance. 

What You'll Do 

  • Prepare, paint, and detail aircraft using established quality and safety standards. 

  • Operate paint shop equipment, including spray guns, sanders, and hydraulic lift platforms. 

  • Apply sealants, paint strippers, corrosion-preventive coatings, and specialized aircraft finishes. 

  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering documentation, and work instructions. 

  • Coordinate with Quality and Inspection teams to ensure compliance with FAA and company requirements. 

  • Track work using material tracking systems and support aircraft movement within hangars. 

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe work environment. 

What We're Looking For 

Required: 

  • High school diploma or GED. 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in paint processes. 

  • Valid driver's license. 

  • Working knowledge of aircraft paint products, including epoxies, urethanes, enamels, lacquers, and acrylics. 

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation. 

  • Computer literacy and ability to use electronic work tracking systems. 

  • Ability to obtain respirator certification and perform physical duties, including climbing, lifting up to 40 pounds, and working in confined spaces. 

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. 

Preferred: 

  • Aircraft painting experience in the aerospace industry. 

  • Experience working in an FAA-regulated manufacturing or maintenance environment.

Pay Details: $28.75 per hour
