Assembly Mechanic – Fuselage Integration


Experience Required:

  • 10+ years of aerospace assembly experience preferred; 11+ years ideal.
  • 737 Fuselage Integration and Multilayer Layup experience required.


Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, seal, rig, and inspect aircraft structural and system components using engineering drawings, work instructions, and process specifications.
  • Perform fuselage integration and multilayer layup work.
  • Use precision measuring tools, shop mathematics, and test equipment to complete assemblies and functional tests.
  • Install and assemble structures, doors, sub-assemblies, and other aircraft components using appropriate tooling.
  • Perform sealing, pressure/vacuum testing, and precision bench assembly as required.
  • Verify completed work meets engineering, quality, and process requirements and identify discrepancies.
  • Operate conventional/CNC fastening equipment and related assembly tooling.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and ensure tools/equipment are properly certified.
  • Support production schedules, material movement, cross-training, and inspection activities.
  • Cross-train in inspection and obtain SIA qualification.
