TILE - PRESS OPERATOR - A SHIFT (6am - 6pm) Rotating Schedule - Weekends Required
Recruiting Profile
Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Press Operator to join our MFG TEAM! As the Press Operator, we need someone to monitor and perform minor adjustments on press equipment and inspect tile. 

Primary Objective
Operates various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished product in the shipping and receiving process.
Major Function and Scope:
  • Monitors efficient operation of press equipment.
  • Inspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.
  • Performs minor adjustments to equipment as needed.
  • Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
  • Follows standard operating procedures.
  • Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1-year previous manufacturing/production experience preferred.

Competencies:
  • Good oral and written communications skills.
  • Good record keeping skills.
  • Good listening skills.
  • Accurate measurement capability.
  • Ability to understand and speak basic English.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
