Job Title: Traffic Control Apprentice
Would you like to work for one of the fastest growing Traffic control Companies? Our Austin, TX Office is now hiring!
We are looking for dedicated employees to join our team. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and possess the following qualifications:
  • Must be able to lift 80 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (8+/- hours)
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time (8+/- hours)
  • Must be able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work nights and/or weekends as requested
  • Must be able to travel out of town as needed (infrequently), provided ample notice (48 hours) is given.
  • Must have fine motor skills and hand dexterity (i.e., tightening nuts and bolts, using hand tools, filling out paperwork)
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug screenings
  • Must be capable of following specific directions from supervisor
  • Interested in improving industry knowledge
  • Must exhibit good judgment in the field including safe work practices around live traffic and adhere to the company policies and procedures at all times
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must have the ability to operate motorized hand tools and equipment required
  • Must have the ability to accurately use rulers and calculate measurements
  • Must have a cooperative, team player attitude
  • Must be able to follow other duties as assigned by management or trainers
