Discover a place where wonder, adventure and relaxation meet. Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa rests on 180 acres in the red rock canyons of western Colorado. 72 room luxury Resort with amenities that include lodging, dining, UTV and Jeep tours, horseback riding, full service spa & air tours.


Resort Culinary Team hiring Line Cooks / Prep Cooks


Prepare, plan, prep, organize the line setup and provide quality service in all areas of food production.

Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental and resort policies/procedures

Ensure all prep work is maintained throughout shift

Maintain excellent working knowledge of department menu items, ingredients and recipes

Inspect the cleanliness and organization of the line and workstations; rectify any deficiencies; maintain through the shift

Prep work on items needed for the particular menu of the day

Organize all various prep items needed from different areas to ensure all items are in place and ready for service

Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by health department and Resort requirements

Disinfect and sanitize cutting boards and worktables

Assist with inventories as schedules

Assist in plating Banquet hot meals as assigned

Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule

Perform duties in other areas of kitchen as assigned


Seasonal position - $18.00 - $21.00/hour

Requirements:

Two year's experience in similar position

Culinary line or prep cook experience

Technical culinary abilities, proficient knife skills, progressive cook styles and abilities

Experience in Hospitality Industry or similar position
