Role Description The Full-Charge Bookkeeper role is a full-time, on-site position based in Victorville, CA. This role is responsible for managing the company’s complete accounting cycle, including recording daily financial transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing periodic financial statements. The Full-Charge Bookkeeper will handle journal entries, reconcile bank and credit card accounts, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure accurate processing of payroll and payroll taxes. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring cash flow, organizing and maintaining financial records, assisting with budgeting, and supporting management with reports for decision-making. The role also involves coordinating with external accountants or tax professionals, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and recommending improvements to accounting processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Profit and Loss ownership (A Must)
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities and maintain accurate financial records
• Record and categorize income and expenses
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process and track vendor invoices and payments
• Monitor customer payments and outstanding balances
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation
• Assist with payroll-related bookkeeping as needed
• Work with management to resolve billing, payment, and accounting discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records within QuickBooks Online
• Assist with other administrative and accounting duties as needed

Qualifications Required:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar accounting position in a multi-million dollar comapny
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and financial information
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
• Must be willing to work on-site in Victorville, CA
• Must be available Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Must successfully pass a background check

Preferred / Plus:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience with ServiceTitan
• Experience in HVAC, construction, plumbing, electrical, or another home-service industry
• Experience with job costing, service-based businesses, or contractor accounting
• Experience working with payroll and vendor management
