The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full time Senior Data Analyst (Logistics and Readiness), NH-1560-04 at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska (NE) in Bellevue, NE.
Base Salary Range: $127,033 - $194,253
Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for; you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period. Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.
(NOTE: Typically, the 1-year probationary period is for Competitive Jobs, and 2-year trail period is for Excepted Jobs.)

Qualifications/Requirements:
The United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, NE is searching for a Senior Innovator and Data Analyst within the Logistics Directorate (J4). In this critical role, you will apply advanced data analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML) to solve complex, strategic-level logistics, sustainment, and readiness challenges. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Clearance. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
Position requires a degree in: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position from an ABET accredited institution is required. Advanced degrees are preferred. Or combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours).

Knowledge of the laws, regulations, policies, principles, theories, and methodologies related to emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (Al), machine learning, big data management, advanced decision support systems, and their potential applications to global planning, targeting, mission planning, operations (e.g., emerging threat vectors, technology-enabled countermeasures, and response options).
Expert knowledge of advanced data science methodologies-specifically artificial intelligence (Al), machine learning (ML), and predictive modeling-to analyze complex logistics, supply chain, and operational readiness challenges.
Knowledge of enterprise-level data governance policies, metadata standards, and overarching Department of War/CDAO directives to establish and oversee data utility, security, and integration (e.g., Maven Smart System).
Demonstrated skill in utilizing programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and data engineering principles to fuse massive, structured and unstructured datasets from diverse sources into unified operational dashboards (e.g., LOG COP).
Skill in performing strategic-level analysis to develop enterprise-wide data and Al strategies in alignment with organization objectives, leadership priorities, and decision-making risks.
Ability to lead, mentor, and integrate the efforts of a cross-functional team of technical specialists and subject matter experts (at the GS-13/NH-111 level) in a complex, matrixed organizational structure.
