Job description

Position Summary
The Service Project Sales Representative is responsible for developing and delivering HVAC solutions for new and existing customers, including system upgrades, retrofits, remodels, and design/build projects. This role drives revenue growth by building strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering accurate estimates and proposals while collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop HVAC solutions for new and existing customers, including equipment upgrades, system retrofits, remodels, and design/build projects
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with assigned accounts to drive repeat business
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support top line growth
  • Perform jobsite surveys as needed to develop accurate project scopes and estimates
  • Prepare cost estimates including labor and materials, and develop detailed project proposals
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of HVAC service and project-based business operations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality project delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Keep sales management informed of project progress, pipeline activity, and account status
  • Leverage market relationships to position the company as a preferred provider of HVAC solutions, with a focus on retrofit and design/build opportunities
  • Perform additional assignments as needed.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Four-year degree in HVAC or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant HVAC experience
  • 5+ years of HVAC field experience preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial, institutional, and industrial HVAC systems
  • Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Self-motivated with the ability to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel

Travel Requirements: <10%
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • The role is based in an office environment with a climate-controlled atmosphere.
  • Requires travel to project sites and client offices.
  • Site visits can include climbing ladders, stairs, and steps.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
