What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Air Conditioning Contractor, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Air Conditioning Contractor, you need a solid understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical aptitude, and typically a relevant trade certification or license. Familiarity with tools such as manifold gauges, refrigerant recovery units, and HVAC control systems is essential, along with EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
