Job Description
Shift: Day
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 7 AM to 3:30 PM
The Maintenance Technician will ensure both buildings and manufacturing components are operational and meet industry standards. Job focus may include equipment overhauls, die cleaning, electrical troubleshooting, industrial water treatment, and preventive maintenance.
Most tasks will be in a climate-controlled work environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance to meet safety, housekeeping, quality, cost and production requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Troubleshooting and calibration of facilities and manufacturing equipment
  • Industrial HVAC, Air Compressor, Chiller, and Cooling Tower systems maintenance
  • Install new equipment and make modifications to existing equipment.
  • Rebuild equipment components.
  • Perform standard maintenance tasks to maintain facilities and grounds.
  • Prepare written and verbal reports/recommendations.
  • Assist other maintenance team members as required in support of plant goals.
  • Training hands-on with the maintenance department

Schedule: The plant is continuously in operation 24 x 7. Work primarily on the day shift, 5 days per week. May work varying shifts depending on the project. Emergency call-ins and overtime will be required at times.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Industrial Maintenance experience

Preferred:
  • Experience in Industrial HVAC, Air Compressor, Chiller, and Cooling Tower systems.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with external and internal resources to complete projects on time.
