The Role We are looking for Professional Painters to join our team in Medicine Hat. This role works as part of a team to organize and stage product using an industrial monorail system through the phases of powder coating, sand blasting, washing, application, and baking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand how powder coat painting works
  • Operate the Blast Booth
  • Operate hand tools, grinders, air sanders, and paint guns
  • Operate all facets of the paint ovens
  • Operate the air compressor
  • Read and comprehend blueprints
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices
  • Ensure quality, as outlined in our Quality Manual, is inherent in all tasks performed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 2 years of paint and finishing experience; preference given to powder coating
