Service Manager - Air compressors

Location: Cranston, RI

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee daily service operations, lead a team of field technicians, and ensure exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for scheduling service calls, managing installations, preparing service quotations, coordinating parts and inventory, and driving department performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily scheduling of service technicians and preventive maintenance.

  • Handle customer service inquiries and resolve service-related issues.

  • Prepare and follow up on service quotes and project estimates.

  • Oversee invoicing, work orders, and service documentation.

  • Coordinate with the parts department to ensure job readiness.

  • Lead, hire, train, coach, and evaluate service technicians.

  • Monitor productivity, labor hours, and department performance.

  • Maintain accurate records within business operating systems.

  • Promote continuous improvement, safety, and team collaboration.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or 5-7+ years of service management experience (industrial environment preferred).

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Mechanical and technical aptitude.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management systems.
