California Collision Factory in Escondido, CA is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Detailer / Color Sand & Buffer Technician. We set ourselves apart from any other shop in the area with a state-of-the-art customized facility housing the latest technologies and equipment to help our team do the job right. This role is responsible for vehicle detailing as well as performing color sanding and buffing to achieve a high-quality paint finish on repaired vehicles.

This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
• Must have a valid driver's license and insurance
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be able to wash and clean vehicles inside and out per outlined instructions
• Ability to perform color sanding and buffing to remove imperfections and achieve a high-quality finish
• Must be able to help with basic shop maintenance (changing light bulbs, cleaning windows, taking out trash and cardboard, etc.)
• Must keep work area clean and organized
• Must be able to fill tires with air, check oil and fluid levels
Responsibilities
• Clean and detail vehicles to a high standard, both inside and out
• Perform color sanding and buffing on freshly painted panels and vehicles to meet quality standards
• Inspect finishes and ensure vehicles are delivered with a flawless appearance
• Assist technicians and painters with final vehicle preparation as needed
• Help with basic shop maintenance
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
Requirements
• Previous experience in car detailing and/or color sanding and buffing in a collision repair or automotive environment preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
