POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for performing foundational on-site repairs, maintenance, and installations of Ainsworth products. Working under supervision, this role focuses on developing technical skills while providing excellent customer support.

REPORTS TO: Regional Field Service Manager

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical Execution: Performs all on-site service functions including installations, conversions, removals, and service calls on Ainsworth games and associated equipment. Conducts preventative maintenance and upgrades on Class III products, ensuring all work orders and schematic diagrams are reviewed to determine the necessary tools and parts.
  • Customer Support: Provides professional telephone and on-site support to customers, demonstrating strong troubleshooting skills to achieve issue resolution and customer satisfaction. Maintains a positive image of Ainsworth by providing exceptional service at all times.
  • Administration & Compliance: Completes and submits timely, accurate service tickets for issue tracking and invoicing in accordance with company policies. Escalates issues that cannot be directly resolved to service management and ensures all tools and equipment are kept in proper, safe, and working condition.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 or more years of experience in electronics, repair, or a related field.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Basic knowledge of PC operation and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of standard tools.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Lifting/Carrying: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Standing/Walking: Required during on-site installations, removals, and maintenance calls.
  • Stooping/Kneeling: Required for accessing internal components of gaming machines.
  • Gripping/Pinching: Required for handling standard hand tools and electronic components.
  • Visual Acuity: Required for reading schematic diagrams and detailed component repair.

Work Environment

Work is primarily in casino environments (noise, smoke, dim lighting).

Additional Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a current and valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, overtime, and travel to customer sites as needed.
