RMF Cybersecurity Engineer

The Opportunity:

Analyze, implement, and manage policies and procedures to ensure system security. Apply specific functional knowledge and working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of junior employees.

You Have:
  • Experience assessing, auditing, configuring, and authorizing information systems
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, system administration, compliance and vulnerability assessments, Risk Management Framework, eMASS, NIST 800-53 r4 and r5, and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
  • Ability to determine solutions to challenging and evolving cybersecurity requirements
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with multi-national environments, project management, and Authority to Connect (ATC) approval processes
  • Knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), including SolarWinds Security Event Manager (SEM), SolarWinds Network Manager, Tenable Security Manager, and Trellix Endpoint Security System (ESS)
  • Ability to analyze policy, plans, and procedures to ensure they meet NIST 800-53 requirements
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
