Role Overview

We’re seeking a detail-driven AI Governance Coordinator to help operationalize our enterprise AI governance program. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the AI Governance Lead to ensure AI use cases are properly reviewed, risk-assessed, documented, and tracked throughout their lifecycle.

This position plays a key role in managing intake, supporting governance tooling, coordinating mitigation efforts, and maintaining audit readiness—ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, risk, and compliance.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage AI Use Cases: Maintain the use case registry, validate risk ratings, collect required documentation, and track mitigation actions through completion. Perform periodic reviews to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
  • Support Intake & Governance Platform: Oversee intake, triage and route submissions, and track progress. Support governance platform operations, including data validation, workflow testing, and user onboarding.
  • Coordinate Risk & Gap Closure: Track assessment action items, follow up with stakeholders, and help document and close gaps, including maintaining audit-ready evidence.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Partner with Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Security teams; draft clear communications and reports; and support audit and regulatory requests.

What You Bring

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Risk Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, governance, risk, or compliance in a regulated environment
  • Experience supporting risk-related activities (e.g., risk assessments, AI/technology reviews, security or third-party assessments, privacy assessments, RCSAs)
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to produce audit-ready documentation
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI governance or AI risk management
  • Familiarity with frameworks like NIST AI RMF or ISO 42001
  • Exposure to healthcare or other highly regulated industries
  • Experience with GRC tools or AI governance platforms
  • Background supporting audits or regulatory reviews

Why Join

  • Work at the forefront of responsible AI adoption
  • Gain hands-on experience with emerging governance frameworks and tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across risk, compliance, and technology
  • Make a visible impact in shaping AI governance practices
