Senior Data Analyst - Red Team (Supply Chain Risk & Threat Analysis)
Location: Huntsville, Alabama
Work Environment: Hybrid / On-Site as required
Role Summary:
Exiger is seeking Data Analysts to join our Red Team supporting a high-impact Department of Defense-aligned supply chain risk management program. In this role, you will operate on the offensive side of supply chain analysis-identifying vulnerabilities, mapping adversarial dependencies, and uncovering points of failure before they impact mission readiness. Reporting to the Director of Operations & Implementation, you will work as part of a specialized team delivering decision-grade threat intelligence and resilience insights for nationally significant programs.
What You'll Do:
  • Conduct supply chain vulnerability assessments across critical programs and systems to identify risks impacting mission readiness
  • Map adversary-linked supply chain networks, including foreign ownership, control, and influence (FOCI) indicators
  • Produce structured threat assessments detailing vulnerabilities, severity, and potential exploitation pathways
  • Develop and execute scenario-based stress tests to model supply chain disruptions and operational impact
  • Analyze supplier capacity constraints, long-lead components, and single-source dependencies
  • Identify risks related to obsolescence, counterfeit components, and diminishing manufacturing sources (DMSMS)
  • Assess geopolitical exposure across global supplier ecosystems and quantify associated risk
  • Maintain and prioritize a vulnerability pipeline, coordinating with internal teams to support mitigation strategies
  • Contribute to executive-level reporting, including control tower briefings and recurring risk summaries
  • Document research methodologies, maintain source attribution, and ensure audit-ready evidence packages

What You Need:
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, Python (pandas), SQL, or similar
  • Experience producing structured analytical outputs (e.g., threat assessments, risk analysis, intelligence products)
  • Familiarity with supply chain risk concepts, geopolitical risk, or network analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief findings clearly
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, production-driven environment with high attention to detail

Professional Experience Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in threat analysis, intelligence analysis, supply chain risk, investigations, or operations research
  • Experience conducting structured research and maintaining supporting documentation/evidence
  • Background in analyzing complex systems, networks, or supply chains
  • Experience working in regulated or mission-driven environments (e.g., defense, government, or critical infrastructure)
  • Active TS/SCI clearance (required)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting defense, intelligence, or counterintelligence programs
  • Familiarity with FOCI analysis, CFIUS processes, or sanctions screening
  • Experience with open-source intelligence (OSINT) methodologies
  • Knowledge of defense supply chain tools/databases (e.g., GIDEP, FED-LOG)
  • Experience with scenario modeling, simulation techniques (e.g., Monte Carlo), or network analysis tools

Why Exiger:
Exiger is transforming how governments understand and manage supply chain and national security risk. This role offers a unique opportunity to:
- Support mission-critical national security programs at the intersection of supply chain, intelligence, and advanced analytics
- Work alongside experts in supply chain risk, AI, and geopolitical analysis
- Contribute directly to improving resilience across defense and critical infrastructure systems
- Deliver insights that influence real-world operational and strategic decisions
Why You'll Love Working at Exiger:
  • High-performance culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence
  • Discretionary Time Off with no maximum limits
  • Industry-leading health, vision, and dental benefits
  • Competitive compensation package
