You Are: Oracle Configurator/Prompt Engineer

The Work:

The Oracle Configurator / Prompt Engineer is responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing Oracle Cloud ERP experiences using AI‑driven logic, custom prompts, and agent‑based workflows. This role blends Oracle functional configuration expertise with advanced prompt engineering to improve accuracy, accelerate decision‑making, reduce manual effort, and enhance user interaction across Finance, Supply Chain, HCM, Projects, and Technical Operations. The engineer builds prompts, configures ERP modules, validates AI‑based responses, and supports continuous enhancement of intelligent Oracle workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure Oracle Cloud ERP modules to meet business requirements
  • Maintain workflows, rules, catalogs, value sets, approval hierarchies, reporting structures, and personalization layers
  • Partner with functional teams to refine requirements, troubleshoot configuration challenges, and implement enhancements
  • Develop, refine, and optimize prompts that drive Oracle AI assistants, conversational interfaces, and automation flows
  • Build and configure agent‑based automations that process ERP transactions, retrieve data, evaluate conditions, and suggest or take actions
  • Test prompts, agent logic, and Oracle configurations across SIT, UAT, and production cycles
  • Validate system responses for accuracy, traceability, and alignment with business rules
  • Maintain test scripts, evaluation harnesses, simulation scenarios, and acceptance‑criteria checklists
  • Support continuous optimization of AI‑driven workflows and Oracle ERP configuration

  • Experience configuring Oracle Cloud ERP
  • Hands‑on understanding of Oracle workflows, value sets, rules engines, APIs, and reporting tools
  • Strong knowledge of AI/LLM prompt engineering, including prompt structuring, testing, and refinement
  • Ability to analyze large enterprise datasets and map them to AI agent logic
  • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills
