Waltonen is actively seeking a hands-on AI Programmer / AI Software Engineer to develop internal AI agents, workflow automation tools, and intelligent business systems that improve operational efficiency across the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain internal AI tools, agents, and workflow automation systems.
  • Build AI-powered applications that support engineering, operations, manufacturing, and business functions.
  • Develop intelligent automation solutions to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Create and integrate AI agents for knowledge retrieval, reporting, decision support, and process execution.
  • Develop and maintain software applications and backend systems using Python, C, C++, Java, and related technologies.
  • Integrate AI technologies, APIs, databases, and business systems into existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate across teams to identify and implement AI and automation opportunities.
  • Optimize software performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Research, evaluate, and implement emerging AI technologies and frameworks.
  • Maintain technical documentation and adhere to software development best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or related field
  • 3-5 years of software development experience
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C / C++, Java, etc.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies, APIs, and system integrations
  • Understanding of AI workflow automation, Large Language Models (LLMs), Software architecture and scalable system design
  • Experience with Git/version control systems
