Thornridge High School is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and student-centered Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of math concepts and a proven ability to engage a diverse student population. You will be responsible for fostering a supportive classroom environment, implementing rigorous curricula and helping students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary for college and career readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instructional Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, standards-aligned math lessons (Common Core State Standards) that accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
  • Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and positive classroom culture with clear expectations for student behavior and academic integrity.
  • Assessment & Data Analysis: Design and administer formative and summative assessments. Analyze student data to differentiate instruction, address learning gaps, and track academic growth.
  • Technology Integration: Utilize educational technology, graphing calculators, and digital learning platforms (e.g., Google Classroom, MathXL) to enhance instruction.
