Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.


Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy is now accepting applications for Math Teachers for the 2026–2027 academic year. As a school grounded in classical education, we seek candidates who are enthusiastic about classical teaching methods, particularly the trivium approach (grammar, logic, rhetoric). Our classical model emphasizes a rich knowledge base, critical thinking, and the ability to express and apply ideas effectivelyCandidates must be willing to undergo a background check.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Implement the adopted mathematics curriculum and develop lesson plans aligned to state standards that include clear objectives, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.
  • Develop detailed lesson plans that include clear objectives, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.
  • Incorporate a variety of approved instructional materials and resources to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Teach math concepts and skills through engaging and effective methods, including lectures, hands-on activities, group work, and technology integration.
  • Facilitate lessons that promote problem-solving, critical thinking, and mathematical reasoning.
  • Use real-world examples and applications to make math concepts relevant and interesting to students.
  • Create and administer a range of assessments, including quizzes, tests, projects, and homework, to evaluate student understanding and progress.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback on student work to help them improve and master mathematical concepts.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress, and use data to inform instruction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain a positive and productive classroom environment that supports learning and fosters respect among students.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to address behavioral issues and create a conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Ensure that students follow classroom rules and procedures and maintain a focus on their academic work.
