Job description

Mission

Deliver robust, manufacturable electrical systems for riding lawn mowers and compact utility tractors by owning requirements, integration, and release from concept through production.

Outcomes you’ll drive
  • Requirements: Define, document, and manage hardware/software electrical system requirements with input from quality, supply management, PV&V, and program leaders.
  • System release: Develop and release vehicle electrical systems—including harnesses—into the production environment with complete documentation.
  • BOM integrity: Build, organize, and maintain precise bills of material for electrical content.
  • Supplier integration: Partner with outside suppliers to assess feasibility and integrate components cleanly into vehicle architectures.
  • Build support: Provide on‑site and off‑shift support at key build phases to resolve issues quickly.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years in electrical system design, integration, or test for vehicles.
  • Hands‑on work with components, schematics, and wiring harnesses; solid fluency in hardware‑software interactions.
  • Track record of managing deliverables and meeting milestones.
  • Understanding of standard product development lifecycles.
  • Self‑directed, with strong communication and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to support production during off‑shift builds as needed.
Preferred experience
  • Agricultural or other off‑highway vehicle development.
  • BOM creation/maintenance for vehicle or test equipment systems.
  • Embedded validation: software development or test scripting for SIL/HiL environments.
  • 3D CAD for wiring harness and electrical system design.
  • Project management, mentoring peers, and leading distributed teams.
  • Advanced cross‑discipline engineering coursework and systems engineering exposure.
Compensation and benefits
  • Typical U.S. base pay: $50.68 – $50.68 per hour.
  • Non‑exempt; overtime paid at 1.5× for hours over 40/week or as required by local laws.
