Job description

Our Technology Staffing Team is looking to speak with Boston-area candidates who would be a strong fit for the role outlined below.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $70-$110/hr, depending on experience and project scope.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI frameworks.
  • Develop, fine-tune, and integrate models such as GPT-4-turbo, Claude, Llama 3, and Mistral using OpenAI API, Hugging Face, or custom AWS/Azure pipelines.
  • Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems using Azure AI Search, Amazon Kendra, or vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS.
  • Deploy and manage models on Azure Machine Learning, SageMaker, or Vertex AI, optimizing for cost, scalability, and performance.
  • Implement AI microservices and serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Azure Functions, and Azure API Management.
  • Create and automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline for rapid model deployment and testing.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based AI applications and APIs using frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or LangChain.
  • Integrate observability and model monitoring solutions using Prometheus, CloudWatch, Datadog, or Azure Monitor.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure smooth ingestion, transformation, and storage of data in AWS S3, Azure Data Lake, or Snowflake.
  • Apply MLOps best practices for continuous integration, deployment, and model lifecycle management.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in AI, ML, or software engineering, ideally within financial services or other data-driven industries.
  • Expertise in Python, with experience in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs and cloud AI services such as Azure OpenAI Service, AWS Bedrock, or Amazon SageMaker JumpStart.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, embedding models, and vector search implementation.
  • Strong experience developing and deploying workloads in AWS and/or Azure environments.
  • Knowledge of data management and analytics tools (SQL, Pandas, Spark, or Databricks).
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Jira or Azure Boards.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Location: Candidates must be local to Massachusetts; this position requires some onsite collaboration.
