Ai Creator information

What is an AI Creator?

An AI Creator is a professional who designs, develops, and implements artificial intelligence (AI) systems or content, often using tools like machine learning, natural language processing, and generative models. Their work can involve building AI-powered applications, generating digital content through AI, or training AI models to solve specific problems. AI Creators may work in diverse fields such as technology, art, entertainment, and business. They need a strong understanding of programming, data analysis, and AI concepts to effectively create and deploy intelligent systems.

What are some common challenges faced by AI Creators when developing new models or solutions?

AI Creators often encounter challenges such as ensuring high-quality, unbiased data for training models, balancing model complexity with interpretability, and keeping up with rapidly evolving technologies and best practices. Collaboration with data engineers, domain experts, and stakeholders is essential to define clear project goals and align AI solutions with business needs. Additionally, AI Creators must rigorously test models to avoid overfitting and ensure ethical, scalable deployment in real-world environments.

What is the difference between Ai Creator vs Data Scientist?

To thrive as an AI Creator, you need a strong background in computer science, machine learning, and data analysis, often supported by a relevant degree or equivalent experience. Familiarity with programming languages like Python, AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and cloud platforms is typically required. Creativity, critical thinking, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for designing innovative solutions and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. These skills and qualities are vital for developing impactful AI systems that solve real-world problems efficiently and ethically.

Profound is the marketing platform for the AI era. As people increasingly turn to ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini to decide what to buy, we give brands the intelligence to see how AI represents them and the Agents to act on it. Today, ~13% of the Fortune 500, plus companies like Ramp, Figma, Chime, Calendly, and DocuSign, use Profound to turn AI Search from a black box into a measurable growth channel.
Backed by Lightspeed, Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, and Khosla Ventures at a $1B valuation, we're a lean, fast-moving team across NYC, SF, Buenos Aires, and London, shipping at a relentless pace and defining a new category at the biggest shift in marketing in 25 years. If you want to do the best work of your career at the frontier of AI, come build it with us.
We're looking for a creative and strategic creator marketer to build Profound's creator program from scratch. You'll partner with the marketers, SEOs, and brand builders who have real audiences in our space and turn them into authentic voices for the answer-engine era. This isn't a campaign coordinator role. It's a builder role.
The Role
We're hiring a Creator Marketing Manager to build the program that turns the right creators into the loudest voices in our category. You'll identify the marketers, SEOs, content strategists, and brand builders who have authentic audiences we want to reach, and build genuine, high-impact partnerships with them.
One of your biggest advantages: Profound produces original research and proprietary data on how AI models represent brands. You'll use that data as creative fuel, giving creators unique angles and insights they can't get anywhere else. The best partnerships won't feel like ads. They'll feel like the most useful content those creators have ever made.
What You'll Do
  • Build and own Profound's creator program. Design the strategy, define the tiers, and build the engine from the ground up.
  • Identify and cultivate the right creators. Find the marketers, SEOs, and brand builders with authentic, engaged audiences in our space. Fit, expertise, and authenticity matter more than follower count.
  • Manage 1:1 creator partnerships end-to-end. Own always-on relationships and campaign-specific activations. How our content comes to life in the creator ecosystem is a direct result of your work.
  • Turn Profound's research into creator gold. Partner with research and content teams to surface data and insights that give creators genuinely unique things to say.
  • Build a creator community, not just a roster. Bring partners into the Profound orbit through early product access, data briefings, and community moments so they're invested in the category.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally. Work with Social Distribution, Content, PMM, and Comms to amplify creator work and ensure it ladders up to bigger campaign beats.
  • Own measurement. Build the framework for how creator marketing connects to awareness, engagement, and pipeline. Report on what's working and reallocate accordingly.
  • Stay ahead of the ecosystem. Know which creators are rising, which platforms are shifting, and how algorithm changes should inform strategy.

Who You Are
  • 3 to 5+ years in creator or influencer marketing, ideally in B2B, SaaS, or marketing technology where you're reaching a professional audience.
  • You have relationships. You come with a network of B2B creators you've worked with or can credibly reach. You know the names, the niches, and who actually moves their audience.
  • You know how to use data as a creative brief. You don't just hand creators a product demo. You give them a story, a stat, a provocative angle.
  • You think in programs, not posts. You build repeatable systems: clear briefs, structured tiers, playbooks that scale.
  • You understand the difference between reach and resonance. You care whether the right people engaged, not just how many did.
  • You're a strong collaborator. You pull context from research, PMM, and product and turn it into great creator briefs without needing formal authority.
  • Bonus: experience in marketing technology, AI, and Martech. Familiarity with the AEO and SEO creator ecosystem across LinkedIn, YouTube, and newsletters.

You likely:
  • Have run an always-on creator program, not just one-off campaigns.
  • Can show programs you built and the results they drove.
  • Have briefed creators on complex or technical topics and gotten great content out of it.
  • Have worked somewhere you had to explain a new category, not just a new product.
  • Want to build something, not just join something.

Compensation & Benefits
For this role, the expected base salary range is $120,000 to $180,000, plus equity and a full suite of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on your experience and fit.
This is an on-site role in our Union Square office.
