Job description

Company Description

Honey Health builds AI staff โ€” virtual AI workers that take on the repetitive back-office work that buries healthcare teams: fax triage, referral intake, prior authorizations, and revenue cycle management. Our AI does the work inside the same systems a human would, at a fraction of the cost and with very high accuracy. We're growing quickly, signing new contracts, and expanding into more complex clinical and administrative workflows โ€” and we're building out our AI operations team to power that growth.

Role Description

You'll join our AI operations team as we scale it up. You'll be the bridge between how healthcare work actually gets done and how our AI learns to do it: sitting with customers to understand a workflow in depth, translating it into something our engineers can build into product, and then helping launch and grow those accounts.

You'll work across some of the most complex workflows in healthcare โ€” clinical operations, patient access, revenue cycle management (RCM), and more โ€” going deep on how each one really works and turning that into AI our customers rely on, so accounts launch smoothly and see results fast. You'll work hand-in-hand with a strong engineering team and directly with company leadership.

What you will do

  • Go deep on complex healthcare workflows โ€” across areas like clinical operations, patient access, and revenue cycle management โ€” and document exactly how each one works, step by step.
  • Translate manual workflows into clear specs our engineers can build and our AI agents can be trained on. This is the heart of the role.
  • Partner closely with engineering to design, launch, and refine new AI workflows and get them into production quickly.
  • Own customer onboarding and success for the workflows you build โ€” shortening launch timelines and expanding accounts over time.
  • Coordinate across customers, engineering, and leadership as a systems thinker who keeps complex launches on track.
  • Use AI tools every day to make yourself and the workflows you design dramatically more productive.

What we are looking for

  • Strong operations background โ€” you've run or improved real-world processes (ideally in healthcare) and you naturally think in systems.
  • Ability to translate a manual workflow into a buildable spec โ€” you understand, at a working level, how technology, AI agents, and product fit together, and you can hand engineers something they can act on.
  • Genuine hands-on experience with AI tools โ€” you've actively used AI in your work and can get up to speed on ours quickly (well beyond using it to touch up emails).
  • Fast learner and self-starter โ€” comfortable owning ambiguity and becoming the go-to expert on complex workflows.
  • Roughly 4โ€“5+ years of experience.

Strongly Desired

  • Domain expertise in revenue cycle management (RCM) โ€” deep enough to be a genuine expert on complex billing and RCM workflows โ€” plus solid knowledge of broader healthcare operations such as clinical operations and patient access.
  • A strong foundation in leveraging AI to design and run workflows, not just for personal productivity.

You might be a great fit if you are

  • An operations person in healthcare with an RCM background who has leaned into AI and wants to shape how this work gets done, or
  • A technical or product manager rethinking their role in an AI-first world โ€” with an ops-minded brain, RCM and broader healthcare domain experience, and real command of AI tools.

The annual salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 + benefits.
