Location:3823 Trueman Ct, Hilliard, Ohio, 43026

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Specialty: Family Medicine  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare examination rooms and sterilizing equipment
  • Room patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform EKG's      
  • Administer injections and collect specimens
  • Document patient care using NextGen electronic medical record software
  • Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperwork
  • Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with minor, in-office procedures

Required Qualifications: 

  • High school education or GED equivalent
  • Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) or you must be willing to attain that certification within 9 months of the start date

      

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • EMR/EHR experience
  • Experience with Epic medical records software
  • Experience with medical front office and back-office duties including vitals, injections, administering medications, referrals, prior authorizations, and insurance verifications
  • 1 years of MA experience 
  • Graduated from an accredited MA program
  • CPR Certified 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 - $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
