Job DescriptionAECOM has a position available for an Electrical Engineer to strengthen our talented team of engineers and designers working on renewable projects across the country for the US Energy Practice. For this role, AECOM offers the freedom and flexibility to work remotely and/or be located at a variety of Energy offices located in multiple locations across the United States.
Our team provides a wide range of engineering services in support of projects across the country with renewable project scopes such as commercial and industrial installations focused on resiliency, efficiency and reliability as well as those utility scale projects seeking to power communities via interconnected networks or high-density installations. Areas of focus include solar photovoltaics (PV), including new technologies in agrivoltaics and floating PV, energy storage (e.g. BESS, supercapacitors), interconnection, wind repowering, next generation energy generation (e.g. fuel cells), new site development, data centers and more.
Focused on a BESS experience, we are looking for a strong candidate with a power engineering background to promote our skills to new clients and maintain our existing client base.
Qualified candidates are those established technical leaders with a diverse background in distributed energy solutions committed to quality project delivery with an interest and curiosity in devising innovative solutions.
