Job Description
SEED Coordinator
Position Overview: Keystone's SEED Program is a developmental program for recent high school graduates to explore the diversity of our business through a boots-on-the-ground learning experience. The SEED Coordinator position specifically focuses on the training and development of current Keystone SEED Professionals, as well as the recruitment of qualified high school students through integration into their work-based learning and agriculture programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to:
  • Oversees Keystone SEED Professionals in their day-to-day responsibilities
  • Serves as a recruiter for in-class events, including connecting with agriculture teachers and work-based learning coordinators, covering Keystone's three-state territory
  • Organizes, manages and helps SEED Professionals develop a strong apprenticeship plan, including any necessary trainings and licensures
  • Tracks individual SEED Professional progress, including regular in-person visits, and provides coaching and additional resources as needed
  • Works alongside program participants and Keystone safety team to ensure training protocols are followed and executed
  • Executes SEED Program events and programs with a strong focus on FFA and 4-H student engagement and recruitment
  • Work directly with our Talent Acquisition team to market Keystone and recruit individuals into our early career opportunities in custom application, CDL truck driving or SEED.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must enjoy leading and working alongside early career individuals
  • Must have strong public speaking skills and comfort with presenting to large groups
  • Must be capable of communicating with all levels of the business to ensure alignment and expectations
  • Appreciates ambiguity and developing new programs
  • Can connect with internal experts and teams to find solutions and build initiatives geared to early career professionals
  • Must be a self-starter and highly organized
  • Can work independently and as part of a team

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or education and 3+ years of experience
