Job description

Summary:
We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in data conversion and systems integration to join our growing team. This role goes beyond traditional PM responsibilities, focusing heavily on acquisition-related data migrations, ensuring seamless execution of conversion projects, and integrations with partner platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in complex project environments, and understands the nuances of handling sensitive data and tribal knowledge transfer. While we are open to candidates at varying levels of experience, preference will be given to those with a proven track record of managing data-intensive projects within a structured methodology (primarily Waterfall with exposure to Agile teams).
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage data conversion projects related to acquisitions and system integrations.
  • Maintain comprehensive cutover plans and checklists, including those related to PII, confidentiality, and customer data.
  • Maintain comprehensive integrations plans with external partner platforms.
  • Collaborate with Agile development teams while applying traditional project management methodologies (Waterfall).
  • Track and manage detailed project tasks and deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
  • Own project financials, ensuring budget tracking and financial forecasting is always up to date.
  • Facilitate UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking in coordination with QA and business teams.
  • Understand and document tribal knowledge critical to successful data transitions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors as needed to ensure seamless conversion activities.
  • Maintain project plans, risk logs, issue logs, and provide regular status reporting.
  • Support documentation and process adherence for regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Create business requirements and PRDs for integrations and features.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience, preferably in system integration or data-heavy environments.
  • Strong understanding of data migration, data mapping, and conversion lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience with checklists and controls involving PII/confidential data.
  • Exceptional organizational and task-tracking skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Experience working on acquisition-related projects and managing complex stakeholder environments.
  • Familiarity with cutover planning, UAT, project finance tracking, and traditional PM artifacts.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • PMP or CSM certifications are a plus but not required.
  • Exposure to Mastermind or similar enterprise systems is a nice-to-have!
  • Prior experience with release management is a bonus, though not core to this role.
