Summary: AGI is seeking a Project Manager I to support the successful execution and delivery of customer projects from planning through closeout. This role is responsible for assisting project leadership with day-to-day coordination, communication, reporting, cost tracking, vendor follow-up, and overall project execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with internal teams, customers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal partners.
  • Proactively communicate project updates, resolve issues, and provide value-added customer service.
  • Coordinate with Estimating, Engineering, Production, Logistics, and other teams to support project execution.
  • Obtain, review, and negotiate costs from vendors, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
  • Issue and monitor purchase orders and support financial tracking through internal systems.
  • Track project progress, update reports, maintain dashboards, and communicate schedule or budget changes.
  • Participate in customer update meetings and help generate reporting to monitor progress and identify risks.
  • Learn and apply customer brand and implementation standards.
  • Support forecasting, invoicing, payment collection, project closeout, and accounts receivable follow-up as assigned.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement activities.
  • Perform other project-related duties as needed to support customer and business requirements.


Required Qualifications:

  • Four-year degree, or equivalent experience, in business, engineering, construction, architecture, project management, or a related field.
  • Three years of similar experience preferred in a manufacturing, service, construction, signage, branded environments, or project management-related setting.
  • Strong customer service, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Experience with Smartsheet, SharePoint, ERP systems, or similar project management/collaboration tools preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
