About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

CLEARANCE & COMPLIANCE
This role requires a current, active TS/SCI clearance at time of hire. Qualification is contingent upon acceptable results from a background investigation and continued maintenance of the required government security clearance. All offers are contingent upon government approval of your clearance.

ABOUT SALESFORCE NATIONAL SECURITY
Computable Insights LLC, operating as Salesforce National Security (SNS), is a wholly-owned Salesforce subsidiary and the company's dedicated contracting entity for the U.S. Intelligence Community and national security market. We operate at the highest classification levels, delivering mission-critical CRM, AI, and data solutions under the strictest security and compliance regimes in the federal government.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a senior Solution Engineer who thrives in a classified environment and understands the unique operational tempo, access constraints, and mission stakes of IC customers. You'll serve as a trusted technical advisor to intelligence agencies-running discovery, architecting solutions, and building proof-of-concept environments that translate directly into mission value. This isn't a role for someone who presents slides. It's for someone who builds, thinks architecturally, and can operate at TS/SCI without losing any of their engineering edge.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead deep technical and mission discovery with IC customers-uncover operational gaps, map requirements to the Salesforce platform (CRM, Agentforce, Data Cloud, MuleSoft), and scope executable POC use cases with clear success criteria
  • Design and build secure, agentic solutions tailored to IC use cases: case management, analyst workflows, collection management, reporting automation, and multi-domain data aggregation
  • Architect and prototype Agentforce-based solutions within classified environments-including grounding strategies, RAG/retrieval patterns, prompt governance, and agent reliability considerations specific to sensitive workloads
  • Present technical architecture and business value to both mission operators and senior IC leadership with equal fluency
  • Support RFI/RFP responses by contributing technical content, demo scenarios, and architecture documentation
  • Work closely with IC program offices to assess feasibility across data classification, security architecture, and operational readiness-ensuring proposed solutions can actually be adopted and sustained
  • Partner with SNS Account Executives, Capture Managers, and Customer Success to drive pipeline and support pursuit strategy
  • Act as a technical sounding board for the SE team; support junior SEs on complex opportunities and escalate challenges to leadership with context and a proposed path forward
  • Build reusable assets-POC templates, demo environments, playbooks-that scale across the IC customer base
  • Feed structured Voice of the Customer feedback into Salesforce Product and Engineering to influence the IC roadmap

WHAT YOU BRING
Required

  • 7+ years of experience as a Solution or Sales Engineer supporting enterprise SaaS, CRM, or mission IT-ideally with IC or national security customers
  • Degree in Computer Science required (B.S., Master's, or Ph.D.)
  • Hands-on SaaS configuration, Data Architecture, Front End development, Object Oriented Programming (Java, C#, Python).
  • Practical AI fluency: working knowledge of LLMs, RAG/grounding, agentic engineering patterns, and how agentic systems behave in production-including safety, reliability, and governance considerations specific to classified workloads
  • Strong discovery and MVP scoping skills: able to run technical and business discovery sessions, define use cases, set measurable success criteria, and produce a feasible execution plan
  • Familiarity with IC-specific compliance frameworks
  • Current TS/SCI clearance (required at time of hire)
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Strong written, verbal, and whiteboard communication skills-able to engage both technical operators and C-level IC leadership

Preferred

  • Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform Developer, Public Sector Solutions
  • Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, or equivalent full-stack engineering background
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or Python; familiarity with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
  • Experience with agentic engineering tooling (Cursor, Claude Code, Agentforce Vibes, or similar)
  • Prior experience with government cloud environments: AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or IC-specific cloud infrastructure
  • Experience operating within or alongside IC program offices-understanding mission workflows, stakeholder dynamics, and the technical evaluation process
This candidate must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) who does not hold dual citizenship and agrees to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position.
