Workday Architect (Agentic AI Focus)
Position Title: Workday Architect
Location: Warren, MI (MIC Location - Hybrid) or Austin, TX or Bay Area, CA
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Contract-to-Hire options available)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an expert Workday Architect to deliver technical designs, architectural frameworks, and end-to-end solutions that incorporate Agentic AI into corporate employee journeys. Based out of the Michigan Innovation Center (MIC) in Warren, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex integrations that interface core Workday modules with modern enterprise artificial intelligence utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and deliver stable Workday integrations connecting various AI tools to optimize employee lifecycle journeys across HR and performance sectors.
Partner actively with software engineers, third-party technology providers, and internal business groups to engineer secure, efficient connection layers.
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of technical solutions, from abstract design to deployment and validation.
Required Qualifications:
Proven, deep technical experience designing complex Workday integrations using enterprise development toolsets including Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Extensive hands-on experience configuring and administering middleware layers to connect core Workday modules (Recruiting, Performance, Compensation, and Core HCM).
Specialized knowledge or strong practical familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks and integrating them into enterprise applications.
