Job Summary 
Class Insurance Agency is seeking a motivated, career-minded Commercial Insurance Sales Agent to join our growing trucking insurance office. This role is for someone who wants to build a long-term sales career in a specialized market with real income-growth potential. We focus on commercial trucking and transportation insurance. The right candidate will be energetic, goal-oriented, professional with clients, and willing to learn the insurance process from application to quote to payment support and long-term account relationships. 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Sell and service commercial trucking insurance to new and existing clients. 
  •  Make outbound calls, follow up with leads, and ask for referrals. 
  •  Build relationships with owner-operators and small fleet owners. 
  •  Collect accurate information for applications, quotes, payments, and policy changes. 
  •  Work with timelines and follow up consistently to meet sales goals. 
  •  Provide professional customer service for questions, claims direction, and account needs. 
  •  Follow underwriting guidelines and agency procedures accurately. 
 Qualifications 
  •  Strong desire to succeed in a sales environment. 
  •  Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable with outbound calling. 
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  •  Professional phone voice, strong listening skills, and positive attitude. 
  •  Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage follow-up without being micromanaged. 
  •  Computer proficient and able to adapt to new systems and workflows. 
  •  Insurance or sales experience helpful, but not required for the right candidate. 
  •  Must be able to pass an extensive background check. 
  • Must either have or be able to obtain Insurance license
