Job description

About Agape:
We provide direct care support to residents with differing abilities. Our mission is to continually enrich the daily lives of our residents by assisting them with their day to day tasks. From caregiving assistance, shopping, cooking, and working on fun projects - we practice compassion, integrity, teamwork, and excellence in everything we do! We are currently hiring for our CBRF (Community Based Residential Facility) group homes and our SAPs (Supported Apartment Program).
As a Driver at Agape:
You will assist our residents with their day to day travel needs such as but not limited to appointments, outings, and work. Schedules are flexible and can be discussed. (While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in our participant's home or in an office environment with air conditioning/heat.)
Responsibilities:
- Drivers are responsible for providing door to door service for our clients
- Assisting caregiver with transfer of clients in and out of wheelchair using required safety devices
- Required to inspect bus weekly
- Additional duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Maintain a valid drivers license with excellent driving record
- Be mentally & physically capable to assist participants based on their needs in and out of the bus
- A strong passion for helping others with mental & physical disabilities
