Job description

West Point Auto and Truck Center is looking to hire a Service/AG Technician.

Job Summary:

We're growing and looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Install and assemble new feed boxes and related equipment
  • Mount feed boxes and bodies onto truck chassis
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair PTO (Power Take-Off) systems
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and fabrication work as needed
  • Conduct inspections and ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and components
  • Experience with PTO installation and troubleshooting
  • Experience assembling and mounting feed boxes, truck bodies, or similar equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
